Getting Started

I’m new to the world of blogging having not done much online since Myspace was a thing.

This site will be primarily about my path as I develop my woodworking skills. I got started creating things working with Legos as a kid. Most of the time I was getting sets for the pieces vs the project on the front of the box. I built mostly from my imagination with inspiration from the world around me.

Woodworking came about after my father’s passing. I pulled a few of his tools down here to Florida and puttered around in the garage building few shelves to improve our storage. But that opened a pandora’s box for me. I found I really liked the creative process and it turned out to be a much more constructive way to spend my “me” time.
